How much do removals cost?
Every move is different. We give a free, no-obligation quotation based on your property size, distance, packing needs and access. Contact us for a free survey and fixed written quotation.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold goods-in-transit insurance up to £20,000 per van and public liability insurance. Higher-value items should be declared in writing before the move.
Do you pack for me?
We offer full packing, part packing (kitchens and breakables only) or supply materials if you would rather pack yourself.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to four weeks is comfortable; Fridays and month-ends go first. We do take short-notice jobs when a van is free.
Do you offer storage between moves?
Yes — secure containerised storage by the week or month, with your goods inventoried in and out.

Will you dismantle and rebuild furniture?
Yes — standard beds, tables and flat-pack wardrobes are dismantled and rebuilt as part of the move. Complex fitted furniture is quoted separately.
Can you move a piano?
Uprights and grands both, with the right crew, boards and straps. Tell us the type and the access at both ends.
What can't you move?
Fuels, gas bottles, fireworks, hazardous chemicals, plants that will not survive, and perishables. Cash, jewellery and documents should travel with you.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, including Saturdays and evening office moves. Fridays and month-ends book up first.
What happens if my completion is delayed?
We hold the load and wait where we can. Waiting time beyond the quoted allowance is charged hourly and always agreed with you first.
How do I pay?
A 20% deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is payable on the packing/loading day or as stated in your written quotation. Payment by bank transfer or card.
How a move with us works, step by step
- Tell us about the move. Call, WhatsApp or send the quote form with your addresses, property size and preferred date.
- Free survey. For anything from two bedrooms upwards we visit (or do a video walk-through) so nothing is missed.
- Written quote. You get a fixed, itemised price — crew size, vehicles, packing, materials and any storage.
- Confirm the date. A 20% deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is payable on the packing/loading day or as stated in your written quotation.
- Packing day (optional). If you have booked packing, we normally pack the day before.
- Moving day. The crew protects the property, loads, transports and places furniture in the rooms you point to, then reassembles what we dismantled.
