Planning the day
We agree a loading time, a realistic arrival window and what happens if keys are late at the other end. If a same-day unload is not sensible, the load stays secure overnight and is delivered the next morning.
How to prepare
- Give us as much notice as you can, long moves need a full day or two in the diary.
- Tell us about parking and access at the destination as well as at home.
- Keep essentials, documents and medicines with you rather than on the van.

As one fixed figure including mileage, fuel and driver hours, not an open-ended hourly rate. You get it in writing after a free survey.
Can the move run over two days?
Yes. Long-distance moves can be run over two days with an overnight secure load where that suits you better.
Can you store my belongings if the new home is not ready?
Yes. We can hold your belongings in secure storage and deliver them when you are ready.

How a move with us works, step by step
- Tell us about the move. Call, WhatsApp or send the quote form with your addresses, property size and preferred date.
- Free survey. For anything from two bedrooms upwards we visit (or do a video walk-through) so nothing is missed.
- Written quote. You get a fixed, itemised price, crew size, vehicles, packing, materials and any storage.
- Confirm the date. A 20% deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is payable on the packing/loading day or as stated in your written quotation.
- Packing day (optional). If you have booked packing, we normally pack the day before.
- Moving day. The crew protects the property, loads, transports and places furniture in the rooms you point to, then reassembles what we dismantled.
